You're right about the solar panels. There is a board in the lobby which shows how much power they generate, on a good day its about 4000 watts (I think). On a cloudy day it seems to generate barley anything, which lets face it - most of the time in england, its cloudy.
Will take a photo and post it for your amusement!

We don't do anything with regards to the environment but we have held several meetings in the past to help local schools and orphanages. I worked once for a community radio, it was a tiny little station but with such power and support from the public! Truly amazing!

Being green is much important this days, for an example i read a news posted by a prof that " A single Google search releases about 6 gms of carbon in the atmosphere" this happens when the servers of google runs to check the data and by the power used.
A simple example given above will explain how much important is to be green, we all should work on this motive.
Going green can be achieved in many ways, without investment there are lot of techniques depending on the industry and vertical.
Also lot of researches are going on in this field ( i did one research about the energy conservation about DC for my PG in engineering)

All of our sites are hosted by a "green server". A few sites are hosted in-house, also running on solar.
Other than that, we're more or less paperless, I mean, sometimes you just have to write a note!
