I've emailed my host about upgrading my hosting account with them as I don't think it's just me who is finding the website slow.

Hopefully I should hear back from them soon and transfer the site to a better package sometime this coming week.  There will be some downtime due to the transfer where the forum will be put into maintenance mode.

I will post a date for the transfer/or just do it and post when it's done Smiley  depending on when I hear back from my host and when they can transfer everything.

Just a quick update to say I am still going to upgrade as it's very slow the site.  I've had an email back from them and now I just need to know what I have to do to upgrade - never easy is it Tongue.

It's not been upgraded yet.  I was meant to get an email with the new account details but I've not received them yet.  Will lock the forum again when I know the site is going to transfer.

okay, I think the websites will be transferred at some stage after 23.00 CST (or like 6 in the morning for us Brits).

I would pretty much be weary posting much from now on, it should be okay but a few posts could be lost.

Okay, it might have taken a little longer than expected, but we're now on the new server Smiley.

Hopefully the additional resources allowed for the site will help it load quicker and stop the database timing out as too many guests and members try to access it.

Any questions, problems, let me know!!
