ESP Custom Radio Creator enables DJ's and broadcasters to create a customised and brandable dedicated stream player for the Windows PC platform.

ESP is extremely easy to use and only takes a few minutes to produce your new player.

Beta Version:
As this is a beta version which is unfinished, please do not distribute any player generated by it, other than a few mates for testing purposes.

This beta version has been tested on Win 98/2000/XP/Vista and is stable on all platforms.

Instructions on use:
Please check out the READ ME file contained within the zip package.

Download:
http://downloads.remlapsoftware.com/ESP0924.zip  (3.38Mb)

As always, there's no adware, spyware or nasty surprises.

Thanks for trying out my latest creation.

I've written in a new plugin feature into the radio player....(Find MP3's From This Artist).

The feature finds any MP3's uploaded BY THE CURRENT ARTIST to their official social networking sites and are available for download on openly accessible web servers.

A demo of this new feature can be seen in the player below.
http://downloads.remlapsoftware.com/DownloadDemo.exe (2.98Mb)

This unique and legal feature enables your listeners to enhance their listening experience by being able to download tracks made available on social networking sites by the currently playing artist.  As previously stated, all tracks are uploaded by the artist and are hosted on openly accessible web servers.

Broadcasters can switch this feature ON or OFF from within their InitialCommands script.

It's not a feature for every stream....those playing dj set for example.  But for those broadcasting with the usual <Artist> - <TrackTitle> meta-tags, the feature works quite well and it's surprising just how many artists have uploaded tracks onto their social network sites.

Of course I am not recommending that this be a way of obtaining free music.  By uploading these tracks onto social networking sites, the artists intended them to be a 'taster' and so this is how they should be treated in download format too.  If a listener likes a particular artist they should be encouraged to go back and buy the album or better, see them live.

See what you think, I guanantee you will have never seen anything like this in a radio player before and it has the potential to make your own player a killer app.

Just testing it at the moment....seems quite good.  Maybe make allow it so that album covers show up on songs?  I'm sure that would be possible and would look nice and pretty Cheesy.

I'll add a link to the requests page, no problem.  The website URL is taken from your stream meta-tag so no editing is necessary.

I don't know why that would be.  The player just reads the current url from the stream...have you tried shutting the player down and then restarting it?

Cool...glad it's fixed.

I just need to finish off testing the Billboard Information routines and I will release another beta, which will include the Find MP3's by Current Artist feature.
